This antique magnifying glass with folding handle dates from around 1930 and combines practical optical design with elegant simplicity. The lens measures approximately 2 inches in diameter. When the handle extends fully, the total length reaches about 4½ inches. It delivers a magnifier power of approximately 3x, equivalent to an 8-diopter lens — a useful and comfortable strength for close reading and detailed inspection.
